Everyone was gone. Ginsing sat alone in the forest, her forehead against her knees. She couldn't believe how this had ended. How... how could it have ended so suddenly? She couldn't even remember the whole fight, just claws and teeth. Memories of her first team's destruction had blinded her mid-battle, made her fight harder and faster. If the battle ends quickly, we can leave. Molly died. If the battle ends quickly, we can leave. Jack hit the ground, bleeding out faster than she could apply a potion to him. On and On. She didn't even have a chance to say goodbye. She had just finished releasing those that she had tucked away in her box.
