Everyone was gone.

Ginsing sat alone in the forest, her forehead against her knees. She couldn't believe how this had ended. How... how could it have ended so suddenly?

She couldn't even remember the whole fight, just claws and teeth. Memories of her first team's destruction had blinded her mid-battle, made her fight harder and faster. If the battle ends quickly, we can leave. Molly died.

If the battle ends quickly, we can leave. Jack hit the ground, bleeding out faster than she could apply a potion to him.

On and On. She didn't even have a chance to say goodbye.

She had just finished releasing those that she had tucked away in her box. There was nothing left. Nothing she could do. Flora was right--she wasn't even a real person. Or didn't feel like one anyway. She was just a hollow shell, her self stripped away by each pained cry of her team.

There was nothing she could do but walk.

The first step was grass. Grass. Grass. Grass. Rock. A twig. Rock. Air.

And Ginsing kept walking.

NUZLOCKE FAILED.
I really don't want to go into the details of the battle. It was as unexpected and heartbreaking as Flora's death was. I still had the pokemon in the box, and honestly could have gone on, but Ginsing was a previous Nuzlocke character, and this was her second wipe. And at the point in the story where we wiped, she did not have the strength of character to start a third.

I'm sorry. I will be starting a new Nuzlocke comic. Just have to decide between Heartgold or start Diamond again.

Thank you so much for your readership, and I'm looking forward to seeing you all in the future.
